Former Nova Southeastern Basketball Athletes Set to Compete in The Basketball Tournament
Five former players from the Nova Southeastern Men's Basketball team are poised to participate in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), starting July 18, at the Charleston Civic Center in West Virginia. Among them are Ryker Cisarik and Tyler Eberhart, both from the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championship team, along with Shane Hunter from the 2023 championship squad and Isaiah Fuller, forming the Dubois Dream. Sekou Sylla, the 2022 National Player of the Year, will compete with the LA Ignite. The TBT features 64 teams across eight regions, with a grand prize of one million dollars for the winning team. Under the guidance of coach Michael Lamberti, a former player under NSU's head coach Jim Crutchfield, the Dubois Dream will face off against Best Virginia, a team composed of West Virginia University alumni. Meanwhile, the Ignite will take on Team Diesel in their opening match on July 19. The competition will be broadcast on Fox Sports, and fans can follow the Nova Southeastern Men's Basketball team on social media for updates.
